About Us
read moreBesides such a lot to see locally the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham plus the town of Loughborough are from 20 to 35 minutes away by car. The nearest railway station with connections to all around the compass is Derby Midland and East Midland Parkway, both having expresses to London, Leeds and Sheffield. On the last weekend of August motor cycle racing recommenced and on Saturday 3rd September car racing returned. Being only 4 miles away (8 minutes in the car or on the motorcycle) Holden House B&B is very handy for staying for the weekend and offers a welcoming and cosy stay in the lovely village of Shardlow.
