Hillbury House Childrens Nursery in Hove was set up in 1985 to provide a very high quality of care for babies and young kids. We're a tiny independent nursery, not part of a chain, we only have 30 places. We're located in Denmark Villas, very near to Hove Station. Our priority is to offer a very safe, caring and stimulating environment, and to supply a 'home from home' feel. All our team are highly skilled nursery nurses, and follow an holistic approach to childcare.

read moreIn our creative room it is all about exploring and learning through our hands; whether splashing during water play, discovering in the sand buckets, painting with brushes or maybe potato stamping, we look to teach techniques and skills with different media, cutting and sticking, model making and cooking helping to develop the early motor skills. No encouragement needed here. Our free play time allows the children to get together within groups using the home corner, dressing up clothes, hospital, shopping, large mobile toys, bricks, garage, wooden train, farmyard, puzzles, lego and Sticklebricks to let their imaginations go wild and when things call for some serious running around we have our sports hall, full of balls, scooters, trikes.
