Hay Veterinary Group is a practice located in Hay on Wye, on the border between Powys and Herefordshire. Our staff of vets care for all species of animal, we currently have fixed a goose's wing, castrated alpacas and rasped a bull's teeth in the last several months! Pets are seen by the vets during fifteen minute appointments which run throughout the day. We currently have free parking for our customers, immediately outside the practice. Horses and farm animals are usually visited by the vets, although we currently have facilities to treat these species at the practice too.

There is extensive free parking and enough space to allow for easy turning of horse boxes and trailers. This is the site for hospitalisation of patients, as well as surgical procedures. Our main administrative hub is based in Hay too. Facilities include our well-equipped practice laboratory, operating theatre, dental suite, imaging suite and separate dog, cat and isolation wards.

Please call us and we will do our absolute best to offer you a suitable appointment. Our Talgarth clinic offers out-patient appointments for pets. There is a pet-store area and an extensive range of pet food available to purchase. We also hold a stock of farm animal and equine medicines which makes Talgarth a handy collection point for clients living in the western half of the practice.
