Boat Maintenance Servicing Antifouling
read moreIt is very important to the life of your gelcoat and the boat's general appearance, to buff, polish and wax at least once a year. If this is not done, gelcoat can turn "milky" and be come unserviceable or matchable. We professionally compound, polish and wax by using two speed polishing tools with lambs wool heads and our prices are surprisingly small for such a good end result. Buffing and polishing can also identify any areas of previously unforeseen damage, such as stress cracks, but can also remove some small scratches and scuffs in the application.

Deck should be redone in teak? Boat needs completely stripping out, sanding back and starting again? Whatever the scale of refit we will be glad to provide and walk through a detailed estimate that will probably cost less than you had expected. The quote will be for the finished job - no hidden extras. We have expert craftsmen in every material and system that is on your boat.
Boat Repairs
read moreWe are approved boat repairers for many leading marine insurance companies on the basis of the quality of repair work we undertake. As with all GBR work you should reasonably expect repairs to your yacht to be invisible. The secret is understanding how colour works in gel coat. Different depths show different colours. New gel coat must be colour matched at all levels to provide that seamless finish. Joinery especially when fire damaged, can provide an exciting challenge. Our shipwrights meet the same standard as the GRP team - all repair work will be immaculate.
