Learn English as an au pair in Britain
read moreFor many au pairs, improving their English language skills is cited as one of the most important motivators for choosing to come to Britain as an au pair. For EU nationals it is now easy to enter the UK and the au pair programme provides an excellent opportunity for young people to earn money and learn about a different culture as well as learning English.

Equally, the au pair experience is often more successful for families if the au pair is serious about learning English in structured classes in addition to the informal language practise at home. An au pair who attends structured tuition improves much faster, is committed to stay for a longer period of time and generally more serious about the au pair experience as a cultural exchange opportunity.

Testimonials

Vojtech Bednar
read moreMs Gilday is a teacher who actually taught me everything that in nowadays I know about understanding of the English language. I had no English at all when I met with her the first time. During the first two years she has managed to develop my language skills on the stage which was good enough to achieve a very high B in Intermediate 2 Esol exam. She also has a very good personality as I enjoy every single lesson with her while I am doing my Higher Esol this year. I am so lucky to have Ms Gilday as my English teacher and need to say many thanks for all the work that she has been doing with me throughout the years. Thank you, Vojtech
