In the UK those blocks are made in an automated, continuous way and are then sliced into smaller blocks approximately 2 metres long, this though is quite difficult to see close up so we have managed to find a video of a smaller block being made. With a plethora of 'foam cut to size' online businesses, I couldn't rate this one highly enough. The service was great, really friendly and were able to follow our templates to match the shapes of our van perfectly. We used their laminated (2 layer foam) which has a layer of softer memory foam bonded to a firmer foam.

Eventually he found a factory that manufactured foam and asked if could buy some to sell at their shop in Leamington Spa (thinking that he may not be the only person looking for foam). He purchased half a dozen sheets of foam ranging from 1" to 5" in thickness, put them for sale in the shop and sold it all in the first week. Things grew from that simple beginning. Now the company has a storage unit to keep the huge four cubic metre blocks of foam that they buy and cuts foam to customers shapes and sizes for delivery right across the UK and even in to Europe.
