Flittons Nursery & Plant Centre

Audrey and Dennis founded Flitton's Nursery in 1964. At that time the site was empty and totally neglected. In no time at all crops were grown and soon the nursery started to take shape. Those early years were built up on growing vegetables, flowers, bedding plants, shrubs and making lots of home made preserves. They had 4 kids 2 girls and 2 boys and in the 1980's when they all left school Diana (the eldest) trained as a Florist and joined the family business. Dennis died suddenly in 1996 and Audrey and the two girls became partners. The 2 boys have families of their own, but do not work in the business.
