Studio 1 opened in 2005 as a community dance studio for kids and adults. Two years later, we expanded and opened up a 2nd, smaller studio next door for teaching private classes, 1st dances and treatments. Both studios are available for hire. Studio 2 is a more intimate studio for one-on-one tuition. It can hold up to 6 adults dancing and is ideal for barre work & technique, drama, singing, pilates and yoga. 1st Dance Studios offers weekly classes for both kids and adults. All classes run on an informal basis with no exams and no syllabus work. All classes are purely for fun, enjoyment and exercise.

read moreAt First Dance Studios, we put on a large bi-annual showcase for family and friends at The Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking. They get bigger and bigger each time but are always huge amounts of fun. There is no obligation to be in the show so if you don't want to perform you you can just come along and watch or you can get involved and help backstage. We have been performing in other dance shows for many years but we bit the bullet and did our very own one for the first time in 2010. Ten years later and we were two weeks from being on the stage with "It's All About The Vision" but obviously due to the pandemic, the theatres closed just before we were due to tread the boards.
