read morePuppy foundation course (Max 6 Puppies) For puppies between the ages of 10-18 weeks. At the onset of the course there is an emphasis on ensuring the puppies see this very new experience as a pleasant one, you therefore may find we are very different to many other clubs. We cover such things as; loose lead walking, coming back when called, grooming/healthcheck, getting used to unusual objects and polite greeting of other people and dogs. We play a sound effects CD throughout and we also encourage everyone to research their breed and know what it was originally bred to do and what the potential known health problems are for your breed, by doing so you fully understand the dog you have at the end of your lead.

read moreIn August 2009 we bid a fond farewell to Matt Dalton and his loyal dog Roman, they have set off to walk form Chester to Rome to raise funds for 4 charities, Rottweiler Welfare, Help for Heroes, Medecins Sans Frontieres and The Italian Red Cross for the Earthquake appeal. This is one charity for each country he will be walking through and his favourite breed. He plans to walk approximately 20 miles per day and a complete rest for one full day, those of you concerned about Roman, he has been thoroughly checked by his vet and should do well but as Roman is Matt's best friend, he will ensure that his well being is paramount.

As well as the set courses, we also run 10 'Roll on - Roll off' classes on Wednesdays and Sundays, as demand for these are very high, all bookings are made after making contact with Angela. All classes and courses have a strict number of dogs and puppies attending so early booking is advised. We run specialised workshops throughout the year which include such subjects as: Hi, Bye Dogs (for dogs that come running towards you and then run straight past!).
