read moreThe techniques we use are the same today as they were many years ago with hand tools being used often to craft the items we make and then finished off by hand using wax, cloths and brushes to buff each item. Of course the painted range is not devoted just to kitchens as we pride ourselves on the versatility only a business such as ourselves that makes to customers own specifications can offer, & as such we can design & manufacture any individual piece of furniture the customer requires. So much to see but so little space to show it to you, don't worry this site will be very very large and will cover every aspect of what we do at Falcon Pine and how we do it.

read moreOr if the surface is over stone etc that has possible damp etc, then we offer a full service to cover with quality plastic sheeting, batons and insulated boarding which is then covered with the actual floorboards. We have displays in our showrooms as well as examples of many different floorboards, we specialise in fitted work and can fit large rooms or small rooms - the size of the order is not a concern. At Falcon Pine we make items of furniture, kitchens & fitted wardrobes from new timber which we insist on only buying from timber yards that purchase from sustainable pine forests.

read moreAs you browse through our website you will quickly realise we specialise in all areas of the pine industry, but whilst that is the main area of our work we do encourage customers to let us know if they require us to undertake any internal joinery work for them. For example we often do joinery such as fitting skirting boards from new timber or our own stocks of reclaimed original skirtings, as well as fit doors even if they are not supplied by us. Flooring, Spindle ballustrades, fitting kitchens that have been supplied by other mass produced companies etc.these are all areas that we can easily do such joinery work for you, so please don't assume that we only fit our own products.

read moreAlthough we have old period pine doors available in all sizes the standard Victorian door was 78" x 30" which is not a problem for us, however if you are having new frameworks fitted before doors are purchased then you should make the openings to 29 1/2" and to a height of 77 1/4". We say this as the old stripped doors in many cases have been trimmed down and so customers can choose from more stock if the doors are slightly smaller than 78" x 30". Don't worry though if your doors are that size or even wider as we specialise in providing wide doors as we appreciate finding high quality doors to a tall or wide size is very difficult.

We do not keep items in stock but have extensive displays and catalogues to choose from and it is a very good idea to purchase from us as it makes the whole process of fitting your kitchen a lot easier if we have access to the manufacturers manuals. This is because when making such as oven housing units or doors to cover integrated dishwashers, then we need the details of size etc before we can finalise plans or make the items.
