Neil and his team were excellent. We had an issue with a beeping battery but were out of town. Neil called me immediately and was able to pick up keys from elsewhere in Edinburgh and solve the issue. I then hired them to replace the old smoke alarms and remove a burglar alarm. Neil was responsive throughout, going into all the details of how the job will be completed and kept me up to date at every step. Would use again and would highly recommend.

Installation of LED down lights, loft lighting and heat and smoke alarms. This was the first time I had used Neil and his team and will not hesitate to use again. First class service from the prompt response to the original enquiry right through to the quality of the installation and clearing up afterwards.

Found Energize Electrical from Tesla website. Requested for a quote online for Tesla wall charger installation. Very impressed that I got call from Neil within few hours. From there on, Neil proved his expertise by transparent communication and quick response to requests. The company installed an EV charger at my property a year ago but I was having some issues with the electricity supply in my house when the car was charging. After sending an email to Neil (the boss!), one of his chaps was here at 9am the next morning to take a look at the issue. This was resolved very quickly and I should point out that the issue here was user error rather than anything problematic with the initial instal. Highly recommend this business and their aftersales is second to none.

The team at Energize Electrical installed my Tesla Wall Connector. Neil McLean was extremely responsive, great to communicate with and is very organised. The online questionnaire that I had to complete was relatively straightforward and Neil was able to help with this. Energize Electrical have recently completed the installation of an EV charger for me. From the off, Neil was quick to respond to give me a call and was happy to suggest potential options for me based on the setup I have in my new-build property. A site survey was organised and installation date for the Simpson & Partners charger quickly followed. The installation was completed by Ross, Campbell and Jordan who were all very friendly and explained clearly what was being done.

They even pointed out and fixed a few issues with the electrical installation left behind by the builder! All the work was done professionally and without fuss or mess. We got in touch with Neil regarding an EV charger that we wanted fitted in our garage. We used Energize Electrical to install our EV charging point. They carried out a survey, came back and installed it. Really happy with the quality of work and communication throughout the process. While they were at the house, we asked them to quote for moving sockets and switches around. They came back a few weeks later to do the second job which was also done to a high standard. Great service from Neil and the team at Energize. They've now carried out two jobs for me, an inspection following some issues with faulty sockets and replacing my old fuse board. Energize Electrical fitted an EV charger to our home recently and the entire process was as straightforward and painless as it could have possibly been. Neil got in touch very soon after our first request via the website. The process was explained perfectly and all the necessary information gathered that day. Anything else that Energize needed, they took care of without us having to worry about it.

From then until install date, we were kept fully informed. On the day itself, Campbell and Jordan were professionalism personified. Got the job done quickly, exactly as we asked and kept us full informed throughout, even giving us advance warning of the power going out temporarily, and left everything as they found it. We've been nothing but impressed by Energize Electrical and will definitely use them again in the future.

We haven’t long moved to Edinburgh from down south and had a very trusted and reliable electrician, so we were nervous when looking for someone to take on this role. We should not have been worried in the slightest. Campbell responded the same evening to my contact and came out within a week to price the job as well as making excellent recommendations and offering advice along the way. We had A LOT of work which wasn’t far off a full rewire and probably more chasing into walls than any electrician wants to do!

We also had outdoor lights installed and changed all sockets and switches throughout the property. I required an EICR. Within a few minutes of submitting my online request Neil from Energize Electrical called me. He explained everything and what was required. Very shortly after that I received an online quote, which I was happy with. A date and time was arranged for my inspection. I received several messages before the agreed date re-confirming the appointment. This helped to reassure me that I was dealing with professionals, who were very customer orientated. Campbell turned up at the agreed time and was very thorough in inspecting all my electrical installations. He explained his recommendations for remedial work that I, as a layman, was able to understand! Neil then phoned me to make sure that I had been happy with the level of service provided.
