We can arrange all aspects of the funeral service, including liaising with crematoriums, cemeteries, ministers and non religious funeral celebrants. When the service date and venue are arranged, we can also place notices in newspapers, print orders of service, organise flowers and book venues for refreshments.

read moreIf the death has been expected, or your loved one has been unwell for a little while, a qualified individual will need to confirm that death has occurred before we can take care of a loved one back to our chapel of rest (this is usually a doctor or an attending nurse). However, if the death has been sudden or unexpected, the Coroner may need to become involved. The best course of action is to contact us at your soonest convenience, we will be able to advise you about you will need to do in these early stages, guiding you through who to contact and answering any questions and concerns you may have at have.

The business then passed to Billy Pugh's son, Perry and Pughs Funeral Directors is now owned by Perry's daughter, Helen. Our premises have always been located in the Coleham district of Shrewsbury, where you will still find us today and over the years, as we have grown, we have proudly remained under the personal supervision of each successive generation of the Pugh family.
