Born and brought up in Hungary, Bernadett was inspired by the fabulous cakes her Grandmother loved to bake and decorate. In 2001 she qualified as a Pastry Chef in Budapest and after working for 4 years she sought to further her skills by moving to England. Bernadett trained at London's exclusive Nadell Patisserie, which supplied a huge array of cakes to the capital's elite hotels and high profile events such as Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot and the Buckingham Palace garden parties.

For a birthday treat, we enjoyed an exquisite afternoon tea at this charming little spot. The service was outstanding, with a warm and friendly welcome, and the beautiful handmade pastries surpassed all expectations. This will certainly not be our last visit. Highly recommended!

read moreDreamworld Cakes is an independent, family run business located in the heart of Ouseburn, Newcastle. After training and working for years in the pastry industry we met in London whilst employed at the prestigious Nadell Patisserie, supplying high profile events such as the Buckingham Palace Garden Parties, the Chelsea Flower Shows and Royal Ascot just to mention a few. In 2007 we decided to move to Newcastle, closer to Richard's family, and established Dreamworld Cakes, but making only wedding cakes at that stage.
