read moreDisability North currently provides two payroll services run by our highly efficient finance team. Our team is dedicated to meeting all the payroll needs for direct payment and personal health budget service users. Standard payroll is a service where we assist an employer by generating payslips for their employees. We also advise them on the payments which they need to make to HM Revenue & Customs. The employer has control of their own funds and is responsible for payments of wages, tax and National Insurance.
read moreDisability North is a Safe Reporting Centre which means we provide a supportive environment for people to report hate crime and anti-social behaviour to the police. Hate crimes are any crimes that are targeted at a person or group because of hostility or prejudice towards that person or groups. If anyone hurts or upsets you or damages your property because you are disabled, they are committing a hate crime. A victim does not have to be a member of a group that is targeted. In fact, anyone could be a victim of a hate crime.
