Working with Crown Property Management has been very positive. Darren, Catherine and Sophie have all been very professional in their approaches to the issues that occur when managing a residential site. One of the most positive attributes is their response times to resolving day to day problems.
The management of the AGM and service charge collection has also been very professional.

Complaints
read moreNaturally we want to resolve your problem immediately, and therefore please telephone us initially. Should the need arise, a member of staff will be appointed to resolve any informal complaint relating to Residential Lettings or Property Management. Ideally we would ask if this could be done face to face, although we are very happy to try and resolve the same by telephone. Initially we would ask for a round the table meeting to try and resolve the same. Should your complaint be more serious you will be requested to send a written summary of your complaint to Mr Darren Stocks (The Proprietor) at Crown Property Management, so it can be investigated thoroughly.

Glossary
read moreThe 1993 Leasehold Reform Act (as amended) provides the right for leaseholders to collectively compel the Landlord to sell the Freehold to them. Leaseholders meeting the required criteria can form a Residents Management Company, raise funds and complete a formal legal process in order to take this action. The end result of this process is for participating leaseholders to own a share of freehold. Residents and Right to Manage Companies require the appointment of Company Directors. It is usual for these to be shareholders or members of the company (which means they also have to be leaseholders) and for them to contribute their time on a voluntary basis.
FAQ's
read moreMany leases provide for the collection of sums in advance to create a reserve or 'sinking' fund to ensure that sufficient money is available for future scheduled major works, such as external decorations or lift replacement. The lease will set out when regular, cyclical or maintenance works are due. Contributions to the reserve fund are not repayable when the flat is sold. Ground Rent is the rent that all Leaseholders pay to the owner of the land (the Freeholder or Head lessee). Terms for this payment will be set out clearly in your lease.
