Courtney & Walker

Courtney and Walker are a family owned firm now in the 3rd generation. The history of the firm dates back to 1936 when Madam Courtney opened an accordian shop in Portsmouth called 'Courtney's Accordians'In 1947 Wilfred Walker joined the firm as co-teacher and in 1952 entered into the firm and Courtney and Walker was established. For many years we were a specialist accordian company, selling, repairing and teaching accordian. Madam Courtney had an accordian band. After this, under Jeff Walker (second generation) the company took a direction as a general music shop.
