Connect Reading is an exceptional collaboration of commercial, public and voluntary sector, in the Greater Reading area, whose core goal is to find innovative solutions to several of the challenging socio-economic issues facing Reading today. Founder members of the Partnership include BG Group, Central Berkshire Education Business Partnership, Coffey International Development, Kyocera Mita, Prudential, Reading Borough Council, Reading Voluntary Action, Volunteer Centre Reading and Thames Water.

As an integral part of Reading we strive to be involved with community projects and initiatives, ensuring the centre delivers appropriate CSR which we passionately believe in.' Recently the train station had an excess of handwash gel - 1500 bottles! - not only were Connect Reading able to collect the whole lot but also distribute it to exactly where it was needed most - thank you!'
