Laminating applies a thin film of plastic either side of the printed sheet, in either a gloss or matt finish which is trimmed flush and often used on postcards, business card, leaflets, brochures and folders. Encapsulating entirely seals the printed sheet between two layers of thicker plastic film, in either gloss or matt finish.
