Celsa Steel UK belongs to the Celsa Group of firms. Celsa, later to become Celsa Group, was set up in 1967 as a reinforcing bar re-rolling mill. Over 4 decades later, Celsa Group has expanded to become one of the biggest steel manufacturers in Europe, producing over 10 million tonnes of steel each year from it's group firms in Spain, the UK, Poland, Norway and France. Acquired in 2003, Celsa Steel UK is the biggest producer of reinforcement in the United Kingdom and one of the biggest manufacturers of other steel long products.
