From first contact with 'Mark number 1' who was very cool, friendly and helpful, who took the booking on the Bank Holiday Weekend, to 'Mark H' who attended, who was also very friendly and helpful and hard working and thorough, explaining whilst working. Also pointed out little health and safety type matters such as when best idea to stand back, ha ha (good idea that one)! Mark H had a 'way' with neighbours (can be an issue at times) so all amicable and enabled him to get on with the job, after tracing to said neighbour's property, without (somewhat expected, normally) issues. Mark H also has the neatest handwriting seen in a long time lol!
'Teresa' at the office is absolutely lovely.
Really, really pleased and can't recommend highly enough!

read moreWe called at lunchtime having noticed the beginnings of a possible blockage, and the said they could arrive by the end of the day, but were in fact here by mid afternoon. That in itself is a brilliant service, in my opinion. The problem was found to be not with us but with Wessex Water, and Canford Drains then contacted them directly on our behalf. Wessex Water were here within the hour and swiftly resolved the problem, which was due to a neighbour flushing wipes down the toilet... Don't do it people! Great service, highly recommended.

read moreCanford Drains efficiently to my call (a very badly blocked toilet) and phoned ahead to advise of arrival time. Once on site they quickly cleared the blockage and tested the flush for correct operation. A camera survey (to check that the downstream line was clear) located the root cause of the blockage (a plastic toilet block holder). This was removed quickly and the line cleaned with high pressure water jetting. A final demonstration of correct operation of the flush gave me complete confidence that our problem was resolved. All within an hour.

Other companies may sign off the job after clearing the blockage, but Canford Drains chased down the root cause and prevented a recurrence.
