Brunel Manor
Hotel in Torquay, Devon
Built in the 1850s, Brunel Manor was to have been the home of the great engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, but although he never lived in it, he helped design the formal gardens and the house retains several of his original design. Whether you're searching for a individual holiday or retreat, or perhaps a venue for a group conference or houseparty, Brunel Manor has everything you need!

Brunel Manor
read moreSome may find it strange that at a time when the physical doors of Brunel Manor are firmly closed, and never to be reopened to guests, that we should be promoting a book entitled Large Doors Still Open on Small Hinges, and yet that is what we are doing. Twice over the history of Woodlands House of Prayer doors have closed, only to be reopened elsewhere. This time it is a little different and it reminds us of Abraham, who went out, not knowing where he was to go.(Heb 11:8). We are in a similar place as we seek the Lord concerning the next steps.
