We have been delivering swimming lessons for kids and adults for over twenty years. All our team are friendly and enthusiastic. Our teachers are ASA or STA qualified and every session is overseen by a supervisor and two lifeguards. Lower ability classes have a ratio of one instructor to three kids and no class has more than nine students. Our lessons take place at Roedean Junior School (formerly St. Mary's Hall) and Roedean School, both of which are bigger swimming pools suitable for all learning abilities.

read moreBrighton Swimming School is owned by Paul Smith, the company's Managing Director, who founded the swimming school in 1988. On a day-to-day basis, the Swimming Centre is run and managed by Freya Bolingbroke and supported by Jack & Joe in the Swim School Office. For our lessons, we have supervisors who manage poolside, ASA Level 2 Teachers who run lessons and ASA Level 1 Teachers who assist these teachers. All sessions are then overseen by RLSS qualified lifeguards. Brighton Swimming School is always looking to recruit well-qualified and motivated individuals for jobs in swimming teaching, assisting and lifeguarding.

Class Aims: whether its something more personal and tailored you are looking for, individual attention or to work on something specific with your swimming, 1:1/2:1 are a great way to meet these. Note: We can teach 1-1 lessons at various times throughout week days - please let us know when you would like a lesson and we will try and accommodate you!
