Market Town Taverns was established in 1999 to build a tiny, quality chain of bars which are free from brewery tie and provide a huge array of traditional and specialist beers, a nice array of wine and superb food. During 2005, all taverns became entirely No Smoking - the Company was the 1st bar/restaurant group in the country to reach this status. Ten taverns now operate in North and West Yorkshire and, whilst all are un-themed' they share several common features.

read moreAll of our pubs welcome functions and celebrations and many have separate function rooms which are ideal for business events and family gatherings. Please speak to a member of our team at the venue of your choice who can help put together an event package bespoke to your requirements. The Narrow Boat can accommodate up to approx 35 people and is located on the first floor mezzanine area. A balcony seating area leads off the function room with views over the ground floor bar. The Fly in the Loaf offers a superb first floor function room with its' very own feature bar.
