Branksome Park Bowling Club was established in 1926 with 20 male members. They had their first AGM by the end of that year when the membership had risen to 47. The Club became affiliated to the Dorset Bowling Association in 1930, playing in the Dorset County league and are the current holders of the Dorset County Cup. In 1935 Branksome then joined the Bournemouth and District Bowling Association having grown to 74 members. Through the years we currently have had many successes.

read moreThe Green is situated in a very attractive woodland setting with an eye-catching pavilion. We have a full size green of six rinks with plenty of seating for members and visitors to watch the games. There is ample parking on the site and on the approach road. We welcome enquiries from prospective members and both local clubs and sides on tour to Bournemouth or Poole who wish to enjoy our facilities and see the many enjoyable sights in the area. We are a very friendly club, open from mid April until September, and although the bowling comes first we also have a very good Social Calendar, together with a well priced bar.
