read moreWe are delighted to confirm that the Blair Gratton Architects designed extension works are complete to a countryside home near Belper, in Derbyshire. The clients' home sits atop a hill, with beautiful Derbyshire countryside from their doorstep. The potential has been there to make the most of this from within the property. The Clients approached us for our help and we designed a contemporary fully glazed steel frame gabled extension, allowing for access to those fantastic views. The works also included a smart new garden wall with steps leading up to the new extension, which leads into an enclosed balcony with glazed balustrade.

read moreWe are delighted to confirm that works are complete to a bga designed Veterinary Surgery in a small town in Derbyshire. The conversion works have transformed the building from an office and former doctor's surgery into a bespoke environment for the care and well-being of cats and dogs. The original, single-storey Doctor's Surgery was designed by our very own Senior Architect John Gratton in the 1980's, before a 1990's extension by Blair, Gratton & Associates added a staircase and first floor offices to the building.

read moreWe have recently completed a full set of design drawings for a bespoke Eco-home in Dorset, including a hand-drawn perspective sketch by Director and lead Architect, Simon Gratton. Our Client came to us with requirements for a new bespoke family home on a large piece of land with challenging ground levels. Local materiality was important to him, as was the incorporation of self-sustainable elements. We developed a 4 bedroom ground floor, with master bedroom, living room, open plan kitchen-dining room and utility at first floor level.
