Blackwood Methodist Church
Churches in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
On Saturday eighteenth September 1909 the stone laying ceremony took place for a new church near the end of Thornhill Road. Four months later the building was completed and the opening of a new Weslyan Church in Streetly took place on twentieth January 2010. The accounts published in 1910 show that the cost including land, building fees, furniture, fencing, and organ was J2079 12s 2d. The original intention was that the building opened in 1910 should eventually become the school hall and a bigger Church be built on the remainder of the site.

If you want to know more about us you are warmly encouraged to come to our Sunday Services at 10:30 am. We welcome people who are seeking God as well as those who wish to grow in their faith. Due to social distancing only a limited number of people will be able to attend (on a first come, first served basis).
