From fine dining to stotties and pease pudding, the North East has got it licked. The cream of the region's restaurants have gathered a host of awards in recognition of their culinary efforts. The North East Restaurant Awards were presented yesterday to the region's finest restaurants, sponsored by The Gourmet Society, a dining promotions firm which has more than 4, 000 members in the region. The winners were voted for by members in recent months.
