Belvidere Gallery is situated on Rosemount Place, which has Aberdeen's last parade of privately run businesses providing caf's and specialist shops, many providing home design and improvements. The business has been created for 17 years and Director Alan Watt is a qualified framer obtaining the Guild Commended Framer qualification in 1993. Born in Thailand, Kanita grew up surrounded by the vibrant colours of the gorgeous Thai Silks which were produced in her parents' Thai silk factory in Bangkok. Coming to Scotland initially to study English, Kanita found her way to Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, where she studied textile design.
