Basford LTC is located at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac near to the Polite Vicar public house and the New Vic Theatre, a several minutes' drive from Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent. With four floodlit artificial grass tennis courts that are available until 11 p.m.courts 3 and 4 only until 10:30 p.m. Every day of the week, there are plenty of opportunities for play. If you want to play in the evening, the floodlights are operated by tokens, which are available from the club and cost J1. 50 for half an hour.

Coaching

read moreBasford offers a comprehensive coaching programme for all ages and abilities. The club's resident coach Mike Armstrong is qualified and accredited as a Lawn Tennis Association Performance Coach and has over 10 years coaching experience. He has been Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked and has Safeguarding and First Aid training. Over the years Mike has worked with county and nationally ranked players, including two players who have received tennis scholarships at American Universities. Group sessions for juniors are run during term time as pre booked courses.
