Security Systems in Solihull, West Midlands
'Audible Visual Security' was set up in 1981 with the objective of providing quality security systems to both the business and residential user. Quality, in a security system, is composed of three elements, the equipment used, the workmanship employed and the after-care service offered. We were determined to perform to a high level in all areas. Since incorporation this firm has installed security systems into every kind of buildings varying from a 17th century cottage through to very huge, modern homes; from tiny, one- office units to huge commercial businesses.

Once it is confirmed that our prices are within budget a survey is essential. A survey is needed in order to properly establish the level of security coverage required and how long the installation will take. There will be questions about patterns of occupancy, about areas or items needing special consideration. Is there a room with a safe, where is the computer server, the comms room etc?

In my job as a security surveyor, I can visit five properties a day and of these perhaps three will have suffered a break-in - sometimes the proportion is higher. Nice people find it hard to perceive that there are others who might wish to break into their homes. Logically they argue - "there is little of value in my house".

This includes schools where the safety issues predominate, warehousing covering both internal and external, social clubs where every room has comprehensive coverage and large open areas where the site needs to be monitored twenty-four hours a day. We have systems capable of being viewed remotely from anywhere in the world so, if you would like to keep an eye on your property from abroad or to check the well-being of your family from the office, we have the products and knowledge to do the job.

We will suggest a suitable system and send a Specification/Design proposal and quotation. However, we expect you to follow normal practice by seeking another opinion and a comparative price. To be helpful here are some tips - things to look out for and things to be aware of during the sales/quotation phase. You will be planning appointments for the 'obligatory' three quotations and by all means arrange for three firms to call but may we suggest that you arrange these visits one at a time.
