read moreAt Arthur Gresty Funeral Homes we have over 80 years' experience in traditional style funerals. Over the last 20+ years there has been a greater emphasis and demand to personalise the service, to have a funeral that better reflects the life and person who has died and to offer a more tailor suited service to the bereaved. Moving with modern times, we offer all available services and arrangements to families. Humanist Officiants offer families who have no religion or spiritual faith, but want a service of dedication to the memory of the person who has died.

read moreFuneral Directors' estimates and final invoices generally consist of two parts. The first part is the Funeral Directors' Service for the arrangements they carry out (the hearse, limousines, coffin, staffing etc.). The second part is for the Disbursements or Third Party Payments made by the Funeral Home on behalf of the family (the crematorium, church, notice in the paper, flowers etc.). These two parts are generally added together to make up the complete final invoice for the funeral. At Arthur Gresty Funeral homes, we request full payment within 3 months of the funeral date.

read moreWe offer advice on choosing a memorial and also a complete memorial ordering service. A memorial is a permanent symbol of remembrance and respect, so it is important that its design and the firm producing it should be carefully chosen. We at Arthur Gresty Funeral Homes take great care in producing the right memorial for your needs. Memorials take many forms, but all must be of strong, durable materials and should be capable of taking a permanent carved inscription (and possible additional ones in later years).
