About Us
read moreAllington Baptist Church was established in 1994 by Christians who believed God was leading them to serve Him in the fast-growing Allington district. We originally met in the Vine Medical Centre, which had been built as a mission station. At our first meeting we were expecting 30 people, but 80 turned up, and there was a real sense of God's blessing and presence with us. After a couple of years we were led by God to our current site and building, which has been awonderful blessing to us over the years.
Sunday Services
read moreWe come together each Sunday for Sunday Morning Worship at 10.30am. Our worship aims to be simple, sincere and lively, with good music and faithful preaching from God's Word, the Bible. There is a creche and Sunday School ministry, including GRID for teens on a normal Sunday morning. Morning Communion is normally held on the 4th Sunday, though in 5 Sunday months it is held on the 3rd and 5th Sunday. Come along and bring your children - don't worry about them making a noise - everyone else's do and we are very informal!
