Albireo

Since forming in 2001, Albireo have become company favourites in the Greater Manchester area, with appearances at Poynton Ceilidhs, Phoenix Ceilidhs and regular trips on the Glossop and Edale Rambler folk trains. The band play a combination of tunes. Most are English, Scottish, Irish or American, but some come from further afield and there are several self-penned compositions as well. The emphasis is on folk dance tunes, but we will throw in in-between tune sets or songs for those with weary feet.
