About Us
read moreAGW was established in 1975 by Tony Godwin and George Wainwright. Both had a background in electronics engineering and manufacturing, specifically the design and manufacture of wound components. We quickly grew to become industry leaders for producing wound components and electrical assemblies, supplying to the telecommunications and defence markets. As the market diversified, so did we and we now supply components to the power control, industrial drive and automotive markets, including bubble tubes and fibre optic lit carpets.
