read moreAberdeen Indoor Bowling Club is the largest indoor bowling club in Europe. The club was opened in October 1963 and currently has 1656 members. Our club consists of 12 rinks, offering indoor bowling to all ages including under 18's, whether you want to bowl competitively or by taking part in league games or just for fun. We are open all year round and our other facilities include an on-site restaurant, bar, a bowling shop, free on-site parking and facilities catering for disabled participants. read moreWelcome to Aberdeen Indoor Bowling Club, which was opened in October 1963 and is now one of the largest indoor bowling clubs in Europe. When the 12 rink private members club was opened in 1963 it consisted of an 8 rink stadium and by 1972 due to the length of the waiting list the stadium was extended with the addition of 4 rinks. Over the years the club has hosted many International events and its members have represented Scotland at all national levels. We currently have 1656 members of all ages bowling both competitively or for fun on one of the available 12 rinks.
Indoor Bowls
read moreFor young people interested in taking up the sport of bowling, classes are run during the winter months on Sundays @ 1.30pm. Two hour session. These popular classes are open to non-members and stadium bowls can be supplied for these sessions. It is meantime operated as a Triples league and entrants are balloted into a group of 5 with one member acting as team captain. You will obtain any further details required for the above classes by contacting the Club. Aberdeen Indoor Bowling Club welcomes everyone with an interest in this fascinating sport and opens its doors to prospective members of all ages, abilities and agilities - from juniors to great-grandparents, from absolute beginners to national level players.
