Sash Weights

Our square steel weights provide greater density than cast iron alternatives, allowing increased capacity within the window box. Each timber sash window is constructed with a 98mm box to accommodate these components effectively.

The people at Timber Windows Direct were very helpful and amended my window sizes when I got them wrong and also amended the design. They had my widows delivered on time to my address and the were in perfect condition, the delivery driver was also very helpful.

We recently took delivery of 19 sash windows recently, of varying sizes for our Victorian redbrick country lodge. From the outset this process has been an excellent experience. From the initial consultation, the helpful guidance, the clarity of pricing and the first class windows themselves. Communication with Nina has been exemplary: friendly, prompt and immediate. We shopped around a good deal before deciding on this company and the pricing and quality make it a no-brainer. The house looks an absolute picture! 10/10.

I feel compelled to leave this review after such amazing service. TWD went above and beyond with my order. I had some unusual needs and everyone I came into contact at the company were so friendly, accommodating, organised, and extremely capable. Can't express too strongly my admiration for this company. They did everything asked at the right time and were very pleasant to deal with. We had a package of traditional sash windows from them all double glazed, with lead weights and differing inside and outside colours. They have been installed now for over two years and still look as good as new. We really are very pleased! Don't hesitate to order if you are contemplating getting windows from Timber Windows Direct, They are ACE! What's more they are VERY competitively priced.
