Used this company for a recent house move. I found them to be no nonsense, reliable and professional from booking the removals, receiving the invoice and on removal day itself. House moves are stressful enough, these guys take some of that stress away. Thanks!.

We would just like to say what a professional company this turned out to be when we used them for our house contents removal from Queensbury to Riddlesden on 3rd. December 2020. Booking was made without any fuss with the help of the superbly efficient and friendly Polly, the van arrived early which gave us a head start and the two young guys doing the lifting and carrying (Ryan and Mark) were fantastic working tirelessly to get us out of our old address well before the allotted time, can't praise this company and the guys enough and I'm please to say that the care they took resulted in absolutely no damage whatsoever, I would recommend Shires to anyone looking for a good reliably remover. Shires were unavailable on the day we needed to move so I was a bit anxious about who would be able to move all our stuff. Shires offered excellent value for money and we're professional and helpful whenever I spoke to them. Because they were unavailable on our completion date, they were able to recommend Job Done which I was relieved about and that is who we used. They were professional, polite and delivered above and beyond from the moment they arrived at our house. Thank you so much for helping our move go so smoothly. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Trader charges by the hour, provides removal service to your requirements and is very reasonabley priced. On the day of the move, trader turned up on time, did what was needed and then unloaded into the new property later that same day no fuss. I believe the trader may have onsite storage facilities which can be rented for a reasonable price if required. Trader also offers removal boxes which are tough at a reasonable price. Great communication too. Highly recommended.

Shires helped my mum and I move, they were amazing! The best removal lads we have ever came across! We found them to be, not just hard working, but sociable, friendly, honest, trustworthy, polite, reliable; competent, respectful, funny and witty, understanding, tolerable and helpful (The list could go on!) My mum is disabled and in a wheelchair, she didn't have to do a thing! She instructed them when they got there and they followed all instructions to a T.
They made our move the only bit of pleasure we had out of the whole experience! Needless to say, if you haven't gathered by now, we think they are brill. Would definitely recommend shires. Couldn't believe how quick they got it all done too for such a big job! Can't thank them enough for all their hard work!

We had to move 2 homes and a business to a location 3 hours away. Everyone we dealt with at Shires was courteous and helpful at all times. From Steve the estimator, Polly in the office through to the lifters and shifters, Pete, Leon, Tyler and Wayne. We agreed what they were going to do. and they did it! During the removal itself (a 3-day job) the men worked really hard. They were careful and could be trusted to get on with the job without permanent supervision - leaving us free to unpack and put away. Shires were personally recommended to us, and I can see why.
