Excellent service from beginning to end. When we realised we needed a larger vehicle at only a day's notice it was provided. The lads who moved us were professional and friendly. The staff in the office were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Shires for your move.

We would recommend Shires Removals for their outstanding service. They moved us out of our 4 storey house and put our contents in storage. Nothing was too much trouble for Danny and his team. We expected to use their storage facility for 2-3 months, but due to our original house purchase falling through, this became 15 months. Luckily, the cost of their storage was cheaper than their competitors' quotes.

All of our possessions arrived safely, without a single item damaged. Towels & bedding etc were fresh and dry and didn't even need washing on arrival. They only charged a small & very reasonable extra amount for the extra mileage to our different house purchase. Danny was also on the lorry that delivered to us (this time with Dave) and again they were really friendly, hard working & helpful. They were very professional, covering all our new carpets before entering the house. Overall 5 star service.

Shires were brilliant when we moved 2 houses in West Yorkshire to one in East Yorkshire. We had to stagger the moves over a few days but the crews were always friendly and helpful, always on time and worked incredibly hard. Would definitely recommend. Service: Interstate moving

Shires have been absolutely brilliant throughout our move from Edinburgh to the Barnsley area. They arrived at 9pm sharp on Monday morning and by 5pm they had fully packed our house, loaded it up, AND taken a trip to a storage unit 10 miles away. Delivery today was done within a few hours, and equally as quick and professional. Whenever I've spoken to people in the office (not that I needed too much but we did have several issues with our completion dates on the new house), they've been polite and friendly - even getting to know us as soon I called, but that was down to it being an Edinburgh dialing code.

Price wise their quote was about in the middle of the range we had, but their flexibility with regards to storing our stuff (if needed) was what swayed it for us - it's a little difficult to choose a removal firm if it's your first time moving, so we were a bit overwhelmed with having to get multiple quotes, estimate volumes and try to get bookings etc. BUT we cannot fault Shires in their job. Thank you, and if we ever do move again (it won't be for another ten years) we'll certainly come to Shires first.

Outstandingly effective business! Their quote was competitive, and their communication and information were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing top-notch service. I highly recommend them. A special shoutout to Josh and Ross for their prompt arrival, unwavering composure, and persistence throughout what must have been a grueling day with plenty to handle. They remained cheerful and supportive, making our move incredibly smooth. Thank you for your brilliant service!

They have moved me three times now onto my fourth I would just say there the best by far and do not charge the earth unlike some companys they treat there customers fair throu out

Shires have been a delight to deal with throughout the whole process and I would have no hesitation in recommending them 100% to anyone that is looking to take the hassle out of moving with a reliable and professional company.

We moved today from normanton to bridlington and were looked after by Danny and Jack thank you for your patience and professionalism in what were very hot conditions today these two gentlemen could not have by more helpful we will definitely recommend your company in the future it was a long day and they made a potentially stressful day a pleasure - just got to empty those 60 boxes now! Thanks guys

Big thank you to all at the Shires removal group. They made my move so easy and a lot cheaper than other companies. They booked me in at short notice to move on a Saturday and from the office staff to the guys that moved us they were all fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Could not use the initial quote from because my Mum fell ill. But two years later I returned to them because of the competitive price and comprehensive service. They packed, moved and stored. Everything was done with professional, courtesy and kindness. Cannot fault them. Thank you so much.

Transport arrived on time and the two lads Marc & Jack couldn't have been more helpful. They worked their socks off getting all my furniture from a 4th floor flat situated in an old mill to my new address and all in the rain. Not forgetting the girls in the office for their invaluable help in settling up the removal and going through the costs. Would certainly recommend this company. Well done!

Fantastic company, very competitive prices, attentive staff who are extremely polite and very helpful
