Wee shoutout to Lawson Autotech Larbert
Thought I had an oil leak after a recent service on my campervan, gave them a call and they had me bring it straight in today. From the second I arrived the reception girls were lovely, sat me down, coffee on hand, even let me plug my laptop in so I could get some work done while I waited.
Turns out there was no leak at all (mechanic took me through to show me under the van myself, completely dry).
My van's new and only has a sensor instead of a dipstick, and it was just giving a false reading - topped up, checked, then had to drain it back out again once it read too high! Felt so bad for the extra work over nothing, but they were so good natured about it. This is the 3rd time I've used them now (motorhome MOTs before this) and they've been brilliant every single time. If you're local and need anything done to your van/motorhome, cannot recommend them enough

I can't say enough what an amazing experience it was to trust my car to them! I had an error message appearing and disappearing on my dash and wanted to figure out what is going on. They diagnosed the problems (I had quite a few) and fixed it in such a short time! They always answered my emails fast and was so patient answering my questions too! It was my first time in their garage, but I definitely will be back! (Hopefully not too often tho other than for MOT and yearly servicing ) My car drives like a dream now, thank you again!

Can't recommend this garage enough. Everyone I dealt with were 1st class. I had quite a big issue which meant big bill but they tried to keep the cost as low as possible without compromising on the quality of the work. Our car had a new air conditioning compressor fitted by a franchised dealer under manufacturers warranty. The air con only worked for about a day after their repair. I then took my car to Ewan Lawson motors to have the system properly leak checked. Barry found a leak at the compressor pipes, where it would appear that the previous repairer had not fitted new seals. New seals fitted, fully pressure tested and recharged, all now working as it should. Would highly recommend Ewan Lawson motors for a full and proper air conditioning service and test.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Absolutely fantastic bunch of people that work here. They they go above and beyond for their customers. Helped me big time on 2 occasions over the last year, with different cars that had very different issues. Corrected another garages mess and were open and honest though out. 5 stars aren't enough
