Award-Winning Artisan Cheese from Arran
Established in 1991, our family-run business has become synonymous with premium artisan cheese production on Scotland's Isle of Arran. Originally founded by Ian and Alison McChlery, the company was acquired in 2003 by our current leadership team who continue their legacy of excellence. Our dedicated team of seven permanent staff, including our long-serving manager Linzi, crafts award-winning cheeses using traditional methods passed down through generations. Situated at Home Farm in Brodick, our facility combines a working dairy with a retail shop offering over 100 Scottish food products. We maintain direct customer engagement through our physical shop, farmers markets across Scotland, and specialist food outlets. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated through our motto: 'Make a first class product every time, employ good people, and treat customers and staff the way I would like to be treated myself.' With cheeses like our Arran Blue and Oak Smoked varieties gaining national recognition, we continue expanding our reach while maintaining the personal touch that defines our family business.

Where is Arran's Cheese Shop located?
Our cheese shop and dairy are located at Home Farm, Brodick, Isle of Arran, Scotland KA27 8DD, about one mile north of Brodick town centre.
What cheese varieties do you produce?
We make Flavoured Cheddars (Chilli, Garlic, Chive, Whisky, Herb, Claret, Mustard), Oak Smoked cheese, and our award-winning Arran Blue, Arran Mist (Brie) and Camembert varieties.
Can I visit your cheese-making facility?
Yes, our shop includes a viewing window into the dairy where you can watch cheese makers at work. The shop also offers cheese sampling before exploring the island.
How can I purchase your cheese outside Arran?
Our cheeses are available through Scottish farmers markets, specialist food shops, delis, farm shops and restaurants. Mail orders are handled through our partners at The Arran Gift Box.
What are your shop opening hours?

Placed an order on December 1st for 50 cheeses and 25 boxes of oatcakes (guess what everyone's getting in their xmas gift box this year...)
Order arrived on the 3rd, just after lunchtime. Everything is very well packaged, no damage to anything and thankfully they use Parcelforce who are great! My only disappointment, is that I forgot to order some extra cheese for myself!!

Just the best cheese bar none. And delivered nationwide if you cant make it to Arran. The ginger, chilli and whisky (3 different cheeses) specialities are particularly tasty but at the same time Ive never found a bad variety.
