A fantastic evening's entertainment by Iron Broo. We got the band to provide the after dinner entertainment for a large work conference, and they did an amazing job; great music, friendly and very helpful caller to help our guests who were new to ceilidh dancing- the evening went with a real bang- would recommend with no reservations to anyone looking for a really good ceilidh band!

We Hired Iron Broo for our Wedding reception and they were brilliant. A great variety of styles generated a wonderful atmosphere and the dance floor was busy all night.

The Iron Broo Duo played at my daughter's wedding last weekend and they were outstanding. The dance floor was full all night which was no small task given that many of the guests did not know what a Ceilidh was. I highly recommend Charlie and his band!

Iron Broo Ceilidh Band are a fantastic set for any Ceilidh! I had them as a 2 piece band and they commanded the audience (some 120 people) with absolute ease. Their dance calling brought foreign newcomers into the fray and dancing like they'd known it all their lives. Their Romany style twists on traditional Scottish dances made for a changing and upbeat atmosphere which kept the evening fresh.
Would, will, and already have recommended Iron Broo to others!

Fantastic Ceilidh Band! Played at our wedding, they were very quick to get set up and when the music started were incredible. Interacted with the guests to call dances and adjust to different levels of ability. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was always full. Would use again and happily go to any function where they were playing.

We hired the 3 piece ceilidh ban along with the disco. Charlie and his crew were fantastic on the night and really helped us enjoy our wedding reception along with our guests. Charlie explained all the dances for those who needed help and guidance which was really good. And were good to accept all requests for the dances and even had a family member up to sing during the disco. I can thoroughly recommend them for any occasion big or small.

Charlie and his band of merry men were fantastic at getting ALL our evening reception guests up and dancing at our wedding. Talented musicians, skilled dance callers, and amusing raconteurs, I would recommend booking them if you are looking for a fun evening. Many of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed dancing at the ceilidh - including some in their seventies and eighties! Charlie was prompt and professional in all contact I had with him, and a very pleasant gent to deal with. I cannot recommend the Iron Broo Ceilidh Band highly enough!

Iron Broo performed at our wedding at Drumtochty Castle in November 2017. We couldn't have been happier with their performance. The guests were a good mixture of Scots and Americans, and everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Iron Broo was very professional and yet easy-going. We looked into several bands and thought not only did Iron Broo offer exceptional music but also exceptional value. Thanks for helping us create a truly memorable experience.

They were truly AWESOME! Everyone commented on how fabulous they were. We had a lot of non-ceilidh dancers, and they called the dances and got everyone on their feet and joining in. Even those who couldn't join in the dancing had a great time watching everyone give it a go-the atmosphere they created was fantastic! A brilliant selection of dances and speeds to give everyone a chance. Booking etc was super easy and they were so friendly and professional. Cannot recommend enough!!!

My Wife and I had a great wedding reception at Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen. Charlie and his team were fantastic. They got the audience going and really helped getting the party started. We fully recommend Iron Broo.

Iron Broo played for our wedding ceilidh and they were absolutely brilliant. Charlie and his band set up quietly and discreetly during the speeches and did a fabulous set. The calling was needed as most of our guests weren't scottish and didn't know the dances.
i would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good ceilidh band.
