Brilliant, fast service. Managed to smash my laptop screen, initially asked for a quote via. the webpage and John emailed, texted and called me with a great quote first thing. Service was extremely fast, I sat down and chatted whilst he repaired my broken screen. Can't recommend enough - great price, great service!!

Really fast and efficient service and good prices. Got a few quotes from other companies asking for hundreds more than what I paid here and that was for services that would take 7-10 days to fix it, whereas here it took 5 hours! Would definitely recommend

I highly recommend City PC Repairs for any of your tech needs and even if just for a consultation. John just saved my iPhone6Plus. The headphones were ripped from the phone, and the tip of the 3.5 mm jack broke off inside the phone. I couldn't hear any sound (music, video) and could only use my phone to talk in the speaker setting. I took it to Apple on Princes Street and walked out after some "Senior Tech/Supervisor" mansplained how it would be IMPOSSIBLE to fix, and it would cost me 250 quid to have my phone replaced. John fixed it, PERFECTLY, no residual issues, and he did it for 20!
This is the second time I've gone to John. The first being to repair my Chromebook after it dropped, cracked, and it wouldn't hold the charger plug. He's trustworthy, kind, affordable, and effective. You can be sure of an honest assessment. If you live outside of Edinburgh, I promise you, it will be worth the time to take your repairs to him.

This place is amazing! John who runs the shop is super friendly and was my hero when, during an urgent deadline I dropped my laptop and broke the screen. He had it all fixed and returned to me by the next day for a really reasonable price. Definitely reliable and trustworthy place for any PC issues.

Got in touch regarding an external hard drive which was playing up. From the word go the customer service was excellent. Communication was excellent with emails answered very quickly and a personal response. Also, I was kept updated at every step of the way. The price was good as well. Was very honest about what needed done and didn't try to give me a one price quote.

Firstly it needs to be said that I am a complete computer idiot.
John proved to be an absolute lifesaver when my old business laptop finally packed in denying me access to masses of very important data which was not backed up. He was bang on the money, did exactly what he said he would and as by magic produced an external hard drive with all
my data safe within a couple of days and for just 60 bucks !
Absolutely delighted , so much so that I bought a refurbished laptop from him and now that I have a machine that operates at the speed of light I'm getting stuff done much easier. Top man, very knowledgable, very reasonably priced and a super fast service. Absolutely 10 out of 10.

Brilliant service and highly recommend City PC repairs. John was very professional, gave great advice on possible options for repairing my laptop. He was very fairly priced, clear on possible costs, work involved and timelines for fixing it. Will definitely be back in the future if I ever need to get anything fixed or upgraded.
