A known quantity that did not disappoint. We booked the duo for our party of about 90 family and friends who hailed from all over the world. For most, their first ceilidh. Our guests and management at venue were very impressed by the sound, repertoire and calling of dances which ensured the dance floor was busy. Thank you Iron Broo. You made our night memorable.

Iron Broo played at for us at 50th birthday/20th wedding anniversary ceilidh at the Rox Hotel. Communication leading up to the event was very easy and efficient and on the day they were brilliant - great music and great mix of dances. Charlie recommended that the Iron Broo duo would be sufficient for the size of room and it was. We would definitely recommend and use again if the opportunity arose.

We had Iron Broo play at our wedding in October 2017 and we thought they were brilliant. Our guests all had a great time, and one couple have asked for the bands contact details to get them to play at their own wedding next year.
Charlie was easy to deal with and quick and professional in all correspondence. He also did a great job in calling the ceilidh dances and keeping everyone right. We hired Charlie and his amazing 3-piece band for our wedding in July 2017. They were absolutely fantastic providing a ceilidh all night long for people who were experienced ceilidh dancers to complete novices. They were fantastic musicians and also great and calling the dances. The disco at the middle and end of hte night was also just what was needed to make it a perfect evening. THeir communication and organisation was great and their price very reasonable. Thank you so much to all of you!

Charlie played for a fund-raising ceilidh that I ran. Charlie was really helpful about changing the size of the band to suit our budget but we still got great music and great service. Charlie was also very proactive with encouraging people onto the dance floor and to participate in the evening in general. It was a great night and I would not hesitate to recommend Iron Broo and Charlie.

We used the Iron Broo duo for our society ball and I cannot fault them. They were very professional, accommodating and prompt from the moment we initially emailed to the end of the event. We had the ceilidh as well as the disco and they had the dance floor bursting at the seams with every single song. If you are looking for a band who can get your guests up dancing and having a good time this is the one for you!

Iron Broo performed at our wedding at Drumtochty Castle in November 2017. We couldn't have been happier with their performance. The guests were a good mixture of Scots and Americans, and everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Iron Broo was very professional and yet easy-going. An amazing ceilidh band who provided an unforgettable night of wonderful music at our wedding. Fantastic musicians and lovely people to have around. Charlie was great in the lead up with the organisation and communication and he went above and beyond, meeting up with and rehearsing with my Dad (also a musician) to create a really magical night. Everyone absolutely loved them! We would highly recommend them and would love to have them play for us again in the future.

A Perfect Wedding Band! When I proposed to my now wife back in 2017, I was adamant that we would have a great ceilidh band for the wedding, showing my new Hungarian family a true taste of Scottish culture whilst having a great time. When I saw the advert for Iron Broo and how they were ranked one of the top ceilidh bands in the area I was sceptical at first having never heard them play. Then I was invited to a wedding that they played 4 months prior to my own: after hearing their 3 piece I knew my wedding would be in safe hands!
All through the buildup to the day Charlie was a great help, using his knowledge and experience to advise how to run the evening - he even transcribed a bagpipe tune for my great grandfather to play on the night! On the day, the band were outstanding! Despite a small wedding the band with their charm and wit managed to get people up to dance and put on a tremendous show! The personal touches were carefully noted as the Orcadian Strip the Willows music was even tailored to incorporate Hungarian folk music that put a big smile on the new in-laws faces! I could not recommend Iron Broo more to play at any function, they really are what they advertise and will now need to create an event just to have them back! Forever grateful.

We booked the three-piece band for our wedding and from start to finish they were professional, replied quickly, had easy to understand terms and prices and were nice and service minded. The music was great, and they explained very well each dance, which we greatly appreciated considering many of the guests were not Scottish and didn't have a clue about ceilidh. We all had such a lovely time and we danced like nobody was watching. Big thanks to Iron Broo Ceilidh Band for making our day so special!
