Early childhood is a critical stage of development that forms the foundation for childrens future well-being and learning. kids martial arts classes are a great way for children to train with other children of similar ages in a safe controlled environment. All our coaches are fully insured and have completed their police checks, (DBS) Disclosure and Barring Service. Chum Suts martial arts classes focus on teaching children self defence techniques, the essence of all martial arts. Classes are fun and energetic. Your child will learn how to defend, grapple, wrestle, strike and take down an opponent. Kids MMA Classes are for age groups 4 13 years.

Thomas has over 30 years experience in all areas of martial arts. He is a skilled practitioner level 4 CPF, wing tzun 4th masters degree, Tae Kwon Do 1st dan black belt, wrestling coach, boxing coach, professional martial arts and self defence teacher.

Great club with very experienced coaches and friendly students. The stuff they teach will take you far in your martial arts journey. Its the small technical points that they give either in class or in private lessons that really make a massive difference to your own development. If your looking to improve as a martial artist or even a complete beginner then I recommend you call in to the academy.

Ive known Tom and his coaching team for years. They do not simply deliver their training, they live the disciplines. From novice to competitive fighter, they take time with everyone. Their expertise is second to none.

Chum sut martial arts academy is a great place to learn martial arts, thomas lamont is a great teacher with an excellent understanding of the arts that he teaches, if you are looking to get into martial arts or combat sports and live near lisburn then this is the place to learn, you will learn how to fight and defend yourself in a freindly and safe environment, highly recomended.

I have known Tom for many years and could not recommend this man enough. It's hard to come across one of life's true gentleman now days but Tom is one of them.

Tom is very dedicated to what he does and his wealth of experience is the highest of the highest knowdgle and anyone who is wanting to be trained at Chum Sut Martial Arts Centre Lisburn will be trained to a very high standard and disciplined Martial Arts. Wonderful place to train, whether just for fun as a hobbyist, or if you're serious about competing. Tom and the gang will welcome you and make you feel part of the team. What Tom doesn't know about conditioning and competitive martial arts of all kinds is not worth knowing, new members will benefit from his years of experience both as a competitor and as a coach. I wouldn't train anywhere else.

My children both do wrestling at Chum Sut, it is a fantastic venue. The coaches are all professional, friendly and dedicated. While being taught this magnificent martial art, the children also learn discipline, the importance of effort, perseverance and a commitment to excellence. This leads to an increase in confidence, skill and the ability to defend themselves. The benefits can be seen in other areas as well, for example: better academic performance at school, working more effectively in a team environment and better habits in terms of health and fitness. I recommend it unconditionally and as a parent, believe facitating their involvement with Chum Sut is one of the best things I have ever done for my kids as it gives them a head start in life.
