Came across this store, just by chance. What a little gem this place is. The lady behind the counter was so helpful in providing information on pond filtration. I actually felt as though she was genuinly interested in what I wanted, and not just keen to make a sale. My friend bought a few pond fish, and the lady gave lots of good advice on how to look after them

I've noticed with family run businesses there's an extra level of attentiveness and personality. CD Aquatics has just these attributes. Knowledgable with a keenness to help their customers. The facility is very clean and fish are well cared for with good variety of species for fanatics and beginners. I highly recommend

Not a very big place compared to others but has everything you need, great selection of tropical fish and the staff are lovely, helpful and dont hassle you to buy! Will always use this aquatics in future

Being a true novice (6 months) the advice the staff at CD Aquatics have gave me has proved invaluable. Always willing to take the time and explain the do's and don'ts whilst never pressuring into a sale. I have tried other larger aquatic centres unfortunately have never received the same sound advice. Cannot recommend enough.

I have owned tropical fish for approximately 4 years and have recently started usin C D Aquatics since a recommendation from a work colleague. I can't praise the staff here highly enough, they are always welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a new tank, or any other equipment.

Needed a new diaphragm and flapper housing for my Pondone O2 Plus 8000 air pump as well as a new magnet which is not a standard spare part and needs to be ordered by a retailer from Pondone as they don't sell directly to the public. I got in touch with Colin at CD aquatics who had to order me it via Pondone. So a bit of messing around for a pump that wasn't even purchased from CD Aquatics who were fantastic and sent the parts quickly. Air pump now back to working order and me and the koi are much happier.

I have just completed my Koi pond and the help and advice I received made the whole stressful process a little easier. The range of Pipework and fittings is excellent and very well priced. Being local and open all weekend was a massive bonus as I could get fittings there and then and didn't have to wait for them to be posted. They are always happy to help giving good advice. I always try to shop local and avoid the internet, if these shops close where do you go on a Sunday morning when you have an emergency repair or treatment to carry out?

Great service! After years of having problems with my pond, I can finally see my fish. The staff here are very helpful and gave me sound advice and solutions to sort out the problems I had with my pond, I learnt more in 10 minutes here than I have in 10 years of using other aquatic stores! They also have a nice selection of good quality fish, and other family members are now using this place for their tropical fish, tanks are well maintained
