HGV Driver Training
Our HGV training programmes prepare drivers for Category C and C+E qualifications using modern articulated and rigid vehicles. Had 2 instructors Emma and Martin passed my reversing test with a little help but didn't feel confident in there teaching nice people but didn't seem like they new what they were doing spent more time on there phone when driving round which didn't give me confidence very quiet , failed test on position on roundabouts didn't feel right keep ringing up to get retest but my calls texts and emails are being blanked it's been a couple of months am off to another school , nice people just don't seem either interested or not got ideas on what they are teaching asked if they were adi they said no if jd know this before I would have gone somewhere else

These guys took me from Class 2 to Class 1. I had to spread my training out over a number of weeks due to my own outside commitments. As a result, I had the pleasure of working woth 3 seperate instructors who were extremely knowledgable and extremely friendly. Would highly recommend Kim and the team to anyone looking to progress their HGV career.

Wow what can I say, these guys at KDT are fantastic they made my journey from first day meeting them to my final day yesterday when I passed my class2 test an absolute pleasure. Was recommended Kim driver training by my brother when I suggested doing my category C licence. I am so glad I looked no further. Kim is absolutely brilliant everything was very simple. I paid the money and everything was organised, medical, theory, CPC the lot. I had Martin as my instructor and he is an absolute credit to the company. Made me feel very at ease was always cheerful and just drummed it in that I could do this no problem.
He is always smiling and is just generally a really lovely person. I cant thank Kim and Martin enough for getting me through my Class 2 and I shall be recommending you to everyone who is thinking about doing this course.

Absolutely AMAZING experience with Kim Driver training. I get extremely nervous on any form of exams and Kim kept me under control ensuring I didn't jeopardise it. Thank you very much Kim for all your hard work over the last two days. On the first day I was unable to reveres but by the end off the first day Kim had me reversing straight into the box. On the second day I came away from the test with only 3 minors. I would recommend Kim to anyone!!!

Kim is an amazing teacher, I'm impressed anyone could teach me to reverse a trailer! I passed all the tricky bits of the test but failed on a brain fail on normal driving so clearly not Kim's fault! Would highly recommend!

Kim did an excellent job getting me over the line in going from a complete newbie to passing my trailer test a few weeks back. She has a no nonsense, cut the bulls**t approach to teaching and has a great attitude. She isn't the cheapest, but is the best in the area!
