Artificial Grass Installation
Our artificial grass installation service transforms outdoor spaces with durable, low-maintenance solutions. Using ISO 9001-certified materials and proprietary techniques, we create natural-looking lawns that require no mowing or feeding. Each installation includes ground preparation, precise fitting, and finishing touches to ensure optimal performance and aesthetics. Clients benefit from our decade of experience and 10-year product guarantees.
Commercial Landscaping
We specialise in commercial artificial grass installations for businesses, schools, and public spaces. Our solutions provide cost-effective, year-round greenery without maintenance downtime. The UV-stable materials withstand heavy use while maintaining their appearance. Projects include pool surrounds, play areas, and entrance landscaping, all completed with minimal disruption to operations.
Pet-Friendly Lawns
Our pet-friendly artificial grass features non-toxic materials and efficient drainage systems. Designed to withstand animal activity, the surfaces resist flattening and staining while remaining comfortable underfoot. Installation includes pest deterrent measures and easy-cleaning specifications. This solution maintains hygiene standards while providing a consistent outdoor environment for pets and owners.
Pool Surrounds
We install artificial grass around swimming pools with safety and aesthetics in mind. The non-slip surfaces remain cool in summer and drain efficiently, reducing slip hazards. Custom designs incorporate striped patterns or contrasting textures. The materials resist chlorine exposure and maintain their appearance through seasonal changes, providing a maintenance-free alternative to traditional pool surrounds.
Residential Gardens
Our residential artificial grass solutions offer homeowners permanent greenery without ongoing maintenance. Available in multiple pile heights and colours, installations adapt to garden sizes and usage requirements. The system includes weed prevention layers and shock-absorbing bases for play areas. Clients receive tailored advice during free site visits to select the most suitable product for their lifestyle.

Questions
What is the difference between artificial grass and Astroturf?
Artificial grass is a general term for synthetic lawn products. Astroturf originally referred to sports pitch installations but now commonly describes any artificial lawn surface.
How long does artificial grass last?
Our products last 8-12 years with minimal maintenance. UV-stable materials and ISO 9001 manufacturing standards ensure longevity, with proper installation extending lifespan.
Is artificial grass suitable for pets?
Yes. Our pet-friendly lawns feature non-toxic materials, efficient drainage, and pest deterrent installation options. Mess removal is simple with water cleaning, maintaining hygiene standards.
Can artificial grass be installed over concrete?
Yes, in most cases. Our team assesses existing surfaces during site visits to determine suitability. Installation over hard surfaces often reduces costs compared to full ground preparation.
What maintenance does artificial grass require?
Regular cleaning with water and occasional brushing maintains appearance. Unlike natural lawns, no mowing, feeding, or weeding is required, saving time and resources.
How much does installation cost?
Prices start at £22.50 per square metre for Prestige 40mm. Exact costs depend on product selection, area size, and site preparation requirements. Free quotes provided within 48 hours of site visits.

Dean and team just did my garden and in all honesty I was left speechless, the transformation is unreal! The minute I met Dean for a quote I felt immediately at ease and knew he would do a proper job. It wasn't until they started that I realised how truly good they are. The respect they give your property, the clean way they work and the huge amount of preparation that goes into getting the job done right is impressive to say the least and they don't just deliver a job, the passion and attention to detail that goes into it couldn't have been bettered. The only problem now is I can't stop looking at how amazing it is compared to the muddy, uneven, weed ridden patch it was! Thanks mate to you and the guys!

Dean came over to give us a quote and there was no question unanswered. He took extra care to understand our needs (we have a dog, young children, ground to be levelled) and talked us through exactly what the process involved. After having several companies over to quote, we felt so happy and very confident to book Essex Artificial Grass to carry out the work. There was a team of 6 who were extremely professional and friendly men who made sure I was kept up to date throughout the whole job.
I cannot believe how much my garden has transformed. We have gone from a patchy, muddy sunken garden to a beautifully levelled green lawn which we have had so many compliments on! And you would never even know there are 3 joins in the lawn, expertly done to the highest standard. Thank you so much, we couldn't recommend you enough!!!!

What a great bunch Dean and his crew are. Friendly and professional approach from coming round to giving us an estimate to the finish of the job. Although our garden had some sloping issues, Dean was able to offer us a solution which gave us a great result. All we need to do now is to sell the lawnmower and enjoy our fantastic new garden.

Dean and his team installed my perfect garden today and I couldn't be happier. As a single mum who is hopeless at any kind of gardening, I was struggling with mowing, strimming etc on any kind of regular basis and my garden was turning into a jungle. Essex Artificial Grass turned up at 8am and the whole thing was finished before 3pm. I'm so thrilled with the quality and with the fact I can enjoy a stress-free summer for once this year and for many years to come!!!

We chose Essex Artificial Grass as we felt that right from the first point of contact Dean knew what he was talking about and would be carrying out the work himself, unlike other companies who send a salesman to the house. All communications were helpful and friendly. When Dean and his team were here they got on with the job quietly and effectively - they were a pleasure to have around! Obviously you can't transform a garden without a little mess but this was cleared up at the end of every day, and when the job was completed the whole working area was spotless. Our garden has been completely transformed, it looks fabulous and for the first time in years we are looking forward to using it this summer. Thanks a million Dean!
