Oscillate Recordings offers professional music production across two studios in Manchester and Cheshire. Our services include band recordings, solo artist sessions, and electronic music production. We provide access to industry-standard equipment, including Neve Genesys desks and ATC 300 monitors, ensuring high-quality results. Our team collaborates closely with artists to realise their creative vision.
Mixing
Our mixing services combine analogue and digital techniques to deliver polished, radio-ready tracks. Using vintage outboard gear and software like Waves and UAD, we ensure clarity and balance. Clients can attend sessions in person or opt for remote mixing, with consultations to align the final product with their expectations.
Mastering
Mastering at Oscillate enhances tracks for commercial release using EQ, compression, and stereo imaging. Our facilities feature Shadow Hills compressors and Neve EQs, alongside world-class acoustics. We cater to diverse genres, offering remote and in-studio sessions, with advice on pre-master preparation to achieve optimal results.
Voiceover Recording

Aaron Lidster
Music Producer
Aaron holds a BA in Creative Music Production and has collaborated with Peter Hook. He focuses on electronic music production using Ableton and Logic, influenced by 90s house and club culture. His work includes live sets for Joy Division alumni.
Leon Van Der Grijn
Producer & Engineer
Leon has 12 years in underground scenes, working on alternative rap and experimental projects. He has collaborated with over 200 artists, including 6arelyhuman and Karma10tnf. His focus is pushing boundaries in hyperpop and glitchcore genres.
Dan Leaning
Post-Production Specialist
Dan studied at BIMM Manchester and won the 2022 Remix Competition. He specialises in post-production and mixing, having worked with Britney Spears' engineer Rick Snoman. His approach tailors workflows to artists' creative visions.

Recording at Oscillate has been an exceptional experienceone of the best I've ever had. The Knutsford studio boasts top-tier quality and outstanding equipment. Chris, the Engineer and Producer, is incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He fosters a relaxed atmosphere that allowed my band to perform at our best. Chris amazing! I can't speak more highly of him and the experience I had at Oscillate Studios. He held my hand from my very first tentative attempts at writing lyrics through to having the track recorded in the studio. I first contacted Chris a few months ago to record some violin tracks for my website, He was extremely quick at responding to all my questions. In the studio, he was able to work efficiently on the tracks and help me realise all my ideas and more. He has so much knowledge and experience and knew instantly how to get the sounds I was describing. So pleased to have found this guy. Extremely professional and does an absolutely fantastic job!!! will definitely be using him for all my future studio work!

The man is a musical maestro,the five stars don't lie,i am very new to recording in professional studios. But Chris made me feel very relaxed, and coached me through my song. I am overjoyed with the finished result, and highly recommend him for your future projects. And Like the word oscillate, il be going back and forth, to his studio in a regular rhythm. Great value for money,and chris has a keen eye for detail, need i say more.
