Established as a specialist in 20th-century design, Travers Antiques offers an eclectic collection of original vintage and antique furniture, lighting, and decorative objects. Our inventory spans industrial antiques, mid-century classics, and Art Deco pieces sourced primarily from Britain, France, and Belgium, with most items dating between 1900 and 1960. Our expertise lies in authenticating and curating high-quality period pieces, including medical cabinets, bankers lamps, and designer furniture from renowned makers. We operate from a London showroom at Alfies Antiques Market, providing clients with access to rare and historically significant items. Our commitment to authenticity ensures all pieces are original, not reproductions, with accurate dating within a few years of manufacture. Specialising in mid-century trolleys, Art Deco globes, and industrial consoles, we cater to collectors, interior designers, and enthusiasts of 20th-century design. Our team combines decades of experience in antique valuation and restoration, maintaining rigorous standards of provenance and condition. We offer expert guidance on period-appropriate acquisitions and provide detailed historical context for each item.
