Services
Physiotherapy
Our chartered physiotherapists conduct thorough assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and create tailored treatment plans. Using manual therapy techniques alongside evidence-based interventions, we address acute injuries, chronic pain, and postural issues. Patients receive individualised exercise programmes with video demonstrations to support recovery between sessions.
Shockwave Therapy
This advanced treatment uses acoustic waves to accelerate healing in chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic employs two radial shockwave machines for treating injuries like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and calcific tendinitis. Sessions typically last 15-20 minutes with most patients requiring 3-5 treatments for optimal results.
Clinical Pilates
Delivered on specialised equipment including reformer beds and pilates chairs, our classes improve core stability, flexibility and posture. Physiotherapists adapt exercises for rehabilitation purposes while group sessions maintain strict instructor-to-participant ratios to ensure proper technique and safety.
Sports Injury Treatment
We provide rapid diagnosis and management for acute sports injuries alongside long-term rehabilitation plans. Our facilities cater to athletes across disciplines with strength and conditioning gyms equipped for performance enhancement. Treatment integrates soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and sport-specific functional training.
Chronic Pain Management
Our multidisciplinary approach combines manual therapy, graded exercise programmes and patient education to address persistent pain conditions. Physiotherapists work closely with patients to identify contributing factors and develop self-management strategies using both traditional techniques and modern therapeutic equipment.

Questions
What happens during my first physiotherapy appointment?
Your initial 60-minute session includes detailed assessment of your condition, medical history review, and physical examination. We'll explain your diagnosis, recommend appropriate treatments, and begin hands-on therapy while providing tailored home exercises with video guidance.
What should I wear to my physiotherapy appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. You may need to remove some clothing for proper assessment, so consider bringing shorts or a vest top. Bring any relevant medical records or imaging reports if available.
Do I need a doctor's referral for treatment?
No referral is needed for self-funded treatment. However, if claiming through private medical insurance, check with your provider as some insurers require GP referrals for coverage approval.
What specialist equipment is available at the clinic?
We have two radial shockwave machines, gait analysis treadmill with orthotics system, ultrasound imaging, and fully equipped gyms featuring Olympic squat racks and reformer pilates equipment for comprehensive rehabilitation.
Are online physiotherapy options available?
Yes, we offer live-streamed group pilates classes and provide video-linked exercise programmes. These digital resources complement in-person treatments and allow continued progress between clinic visits.

High standard of teaching by qualified physiotherapists; classes are pacy with no gaps but smoothly linked exercises; different levels of challenge so you can push yourself harder or opt out of an element if it's too difficult. The key point is you feel fitter and more flexible afterwards!!

I was struggling with pain in my arms and getting more and more tired as I rarely had a good nights sleep. Rowan suggested various work-place ergonomic improvements and gave physiotherapy combined with exercises. I cannot recommend the treatment highly enough and I now attend her pilates classes regularly. Its a commonly used phrase, but it is true for me it has changed my life.

I saw Nicki about my knee Id had an arthroscopy but was still in pain and I was about to go skiing. Nicki was brilliant. She gave me some fantastic exercises that I could easily incorporate into my daily routine. It has made a huge difference and I cant recommend her highly enough.

Following surgery on a broken hip and elbow I was walking with a limp and had developed a frozen neck and shoulder. After just one week of physiotherapy with Rowan I was able to walk more easily. After three visits my shoulder felt easier. After the fifth visit I was able to be signed off.
